Deacon Arnaldo A. Santos, author of “Street Gangs and God—The Battle in The Streets”, is a retired New Jersey Detective of 25 years and recognized expert witness in the field of East Coast Mexican Street Gangs. He worked for the Bridgeton Police Department, Cumberland County Narcotics Taskforce (Bridgeton, New Jersey Office), FBI Gang Task Force (Northfield, New Jersey Office) and New Jersey Attorney General’s Gang Land Task Force. He graduated from Bridgeton High School in 1987. He attended St. Joseph’s Jesuit University in Philadelphia, Pa. He was ordained a Catholic Permanent Deacon for the Diocese of Camden in 2011. In addition to his law enforcement career, he is currently working as an Associate Chaplain for the Diocese of Camden; and Business Manager at Parish of the Holy Cross in Bridgeton.
